The fact that you have found your way here most likely means that I or someone who knows me gave you the address. This site is not designed, marketed or optimized to attract strangers. Better Mortgage Solutions is a small, specialized brokerage offering residential mortgage loans to highly-qualified borrowers in Washington State, by referral only.
Unlike some brokerages, with large staffs, high overheads and relationships with many wholesale lenders, BMS does not offer “something for everyone.”
I work with just one wholesale lender who offers great pricing, fast & efficient systems, and reasonable underwriting for well-qualified borrowers who are purchasing or refinancing single-family residences with loans of $540,500 or less.
I have a “stick-to-what-you-know” philosophy, so I don’t venture into credit rehabilitation, grant programs or government mortgages like FHA or VA, but I make a point of knowing the programs my lender offers inside and out. I can usually tell at first glance whether a loan is likely to close smoothly, and can often advise how to prevent potential issues before they arise.
Client education and personal service, before, during and after each transaction, are top priorities, but I also never forget that the bottom line for most borrowers is how much they can save on their mortgage. I keep my overhead low, which allows me to pass along the savings to my clients in the form of a discounted .75% brokerage fee, while most brokers charge 1% ~ 2%. When combined with my lender’s terrific pricing, the result is usually an unbeatable deal for eligible borrowers.
