Design service for 3 bathroom and kitchen
Experience and Good Comments
Meredith completely redesigned 3 bathrooms and a large kitchen with island, desk and bar area in our 1960’s split level home. The existing kitchen was awkwardly laid out and bathrooms were quite small with very little room for storage. The new layouts not only provided extra room and storage (without moving walls), but we were also was able to drastically improve our kitchen storage and floor plan, accommodate double sinks in our master bathroom and all-glass shower enclosure.
She managed all aspects of the design (from initial concept drawings to final construction plans and elevations, final cabinet design and selection, tile design, countertop selection and lighting design). She worked closely with us to select the final color palette and all materials, which really brought our home up to date.
We made a bad choice selecting our General Contractor (which we ended up firing and hiring another one with 2 months left to complete the project). She was absolutely critical in keeping the project moving forward at that time. Once the new team was hired, she met with them almost daily to ensure a smooth transition between the new trades, verified all his work and made him re-do work when needed.
Without a doubt Meredith was a “master conductor” of a very complex remodel. Without her guidance and expertise there is no way it would have come together so well.
