Rodent exclusion, crawlspace restoration
Experience and Good Comments
I recently found that I had a rodent issue in my crawl space and had John from Adept Pest come out to perform exclusion work, confirm the exclusion work, then replace all of the insulation and vapor barrier in the crawl space (since the good portion of it had been damaged/soiled by mice).
The exclusion work included two free follow-up visits to verify the work and check the traps that John had set. He provided many helpful tips and pointers to prevent further damage (some of the wood had started rotting because of moisture), also fixing a particularly problematic area by installing a cement board at no extra cost on one of the follow-up visits.
After about a month with no more rodent activity, I had John come out again to install ~1,500 sq ft of R-25 insulation and put down a new vapor barrier. This work was done quickly in about half a day with minimal mess, and he even came back a week later to fix the laundry room vent exhaust that couldn't be reconnected because it was too short and needed an extension.
As others mentioned, they are rather busy so they may not be able to come out immediately.

Had rats in the crawlspace. They did exclusion work, removed and replaced insulation and vapor barrier and they did duct sealing. This was on 2400 sq ft.
Experience and Good Comments
John @ Adeptest is amazing. Super knowledgeable, super great price (30% less than Clean Crawls), on time, left the place clean, etc...
This is the second time we've used them (the first was exclusion only work 7 years ago). The only reason we had to do exclusion work again is that some curious kid used a tool to tear out some of the mesh coverings that were drilled into place keeping the critters out of the crawlspace.
They are super popular, and thus super booked. If you can wait though, they are definitely worth it.

Replaced visqueen (plastic sheeting) in the crawlspace; replaced all insulation around the ductwork; closed off all possible rodent entrances via concrete patches, screening and pipe coverings.
Experience and Good CommentsExtremely professional, very clean & polite crew. They removed all the old ductwork insulation, sealed all the ductwork with ductwork tape and then re-insulated the ducts. New plastic sheeting on the ground. They came back and checked on things, especially because they saw a rat in the crawlspace and couldn't catch it while they were working. The Rat was trapped and they removed it. They checked back again after that!
Not-So-Good CommentsThey are very busy, but worth the wait.
