Experience and Good Comments

Want to install heat pump or air conditioning in my house. Called several service provider and Nick is one of coming to my house to do in person estimation. He walked through and gave me some his opinion. Later I got several quotas. His quota does not include tax which misled me a little bit. If added tax, his price is quite high, comparing with other providers.

A good or bad part, depending on how you view it, that he did not include any permission cost in his estimation. He said he did not care about it. So, it's home owner's call to include permission and inspection. If you can stand on it, he is quite flexible.

Overall, I think Nick is quite honest and professional. I would recommend him, at least as a comparable service provider.

Not-So-Good Comments

Estimation not include tax and permission, which is quite misleading

Experience and Good Comments

The owner Nick McDanel is a pretty honest guy, he came out, gave me a estimate, which turns out the most competitive one. I got several quotes, I did the comparison, his proposal doesn't try to over sell the product, the capacity, seer, brand is fitting to my house size pretty well, so far, it is working pretty good in my house. His schedule seems pretty flexible, I got the installation schedule one week after accepting his proposal. And, the payment option seems pretty good, he accept cash, check, credit card. And, he forget to include the duct test, as my City permit requested, cost ($300) in the initial proposal, he agree to cover it for me.

Not-So-Good Comments

I got two AC installation technicians came by, they were doing OK, but seems finishing a little bit rushed in the end. As my inspection, they forget to seal the lower conjunction between filter box and duct. I called Nick, they apologized and came out in-person to do the seal for me and fix the pump.
